Data Ventures Incorporated is a new private equity company dedicated to bringing the very best last mile broadband solution and services to our customers.  We work with network developers, underserved campuses, communities and small to mid-sized cities that desire high-speed data services, communication and internet connectivity throughout. DVI’s approach centers on the collective needs within a community for high-speed services via the application of an enterprise communications (Community Enterprise Communications, “CEC™”) solution versus parsing each requirement and seeking individual communication solutions. Creating a single community-wide network allows DVI to serve many individual requirements thereby lowering the network cost of each application.  In fact some applications, such as networked utility meter reading, now become viable whereas they may have been cost prohibitive as a stand-alone network. DVI’s network strategy centers on two things; first, mobility of access thru the creation and operation of a broadband wireless connectivity utility and second, leveraging consumer demand for broadband connectivity to bolster the community’s investment into a best solution for all.  DVI’s solution enables the growing force of wireless fidelity (Wi-Fi) communication appliances used by consumers, businesses, first responders, Homeland Security, and utilities to access the network anywhere within a community.  DVI has developed a competitive broadband platform and a full service offering that is low cost and rapidly deployable by incorporating wireless carrier and Wi-Fi access with the recently proven technology of broadband communication over power lines (BPL).
